Snap2Screen
Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Overview
Snap2Screen is a temporary image transfer service that lets users send images from a phone to a desktop session. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the service, how it may be used, and how advertising and analytics technologies may operate on the site.
Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including images you upload, file names, and optional metadata associated with a transfer session.
We may also collect technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and usage events.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate and secure Snap2Screen, deliver uploaded files, improve performance, troubleshoot issues, measure site usage, and support advertising and monetization.
Uploaded images are intended to be temporary. Sessions expire automatically, and uploaded files are removed when sessions end or during scheduled cleanup.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Snap2Screen uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and may use analytics and advertising technologies. Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses, or similar identifiers as a result of ad serving on this website.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
For more information about cookies and consent choices, see our Cookie Policy.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate the site, including Vercel for hosting and analytics infrastructure and Supabase for database and file storage services. These providers may process data on our behalf as needed to provide the service.
Retention
Transfer sessions are temporary. Uploaded files and session records are deleted when sessions expire, when a user ends a session, or when cleanup processes run. Some logs or backups may remain for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Your Choices
You can stop using the service at any time, end your transfer session manually, clear your browser cookies, and use browser controls to limit or block cookies.
If Google ads are enabled, users in applicable regions may also be shown consent choices for advertising and measurement.
